Dr. Dick Wynn is a contributor.
He’s been a mentor and sort of life coach for me for 7 years now. In fact, I just got off the phone with him. The man breathes encouragement to people. Talking to him is like water to the dry plant in a soul.
Some time ago, before I even met the man, he went into renal failure and needed a kidney. 14 people offered to sit down on an operating table and have their kidney surgically removed so he might have one.
Fourteen.
14 people willing to become contributors to one who had modeled contribution so well to them.
I want to contribute to others this way. I want to get up everyday thinking about what I can give, not what I want or need to consume.
