Safely in Singapore – Calm Before the Storm
Days 1,2 and 3
After 29 hours of travel (Tuesday) and completely losing a day to the International Dateline (Wednesday), Alex and I finally made it to our hotel in Singapore. At 3am local time (Thursday). Ouch.
After getting checked in and once all the necessary things were unpacked, we watched a bit of the Manchester United game, then settled into our beds around 4:30am.
After a quick breakfast at 8:30 I tried, largely unsuccessfully, to go back to sleep. Giving up sometime mid-afternoon, we took a stroll down the RiverWalk and had lunch near Clark Quay. The goal of this one very short day before the trainings begin tomorrow is to get my body over jet lag as much as possible.

Lunch by the River
My ammunition? Water, exercise, sun, and fresh air. Which meant a lot of outdoor walking, sitting and eating outside, and forcing ourselves to stay up til 10:30pm. Did it work? Let’s just say I’m writing this update at 5:00am, after being up for 2+ hours.
In a couple hours we will head out to start the first of our six 2-day Leading Stewards Courses. On jet lag.
Your prayers are appreciated as Dr. Suparno and I attempt to equip these 18 leaders to turn Consumers into Contributors in this affluent nation of Singapore.

Type your comment here … Matt, I pray that the meeting and training on Leading Stewardship Course is anointed by the supernatural invading the natural realm and hearts of those you are training and strongholds broken so they move into obedience.
