The Indonesia Experiment

I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. The world has become so small, so borderless and so friendly during these last 9 years of travel, it just kinda seemed like a move was inevitable. Sure, moving out of the country I grew up in has it’s disadvantages (mostly being 10,000 miles away from my adorable little nieces and soon to arrive nephew), but “things” everywhere have become so familiar, it might as well be down the street.

We are moving here to help a friend with his company; a company I strongly believe in; a company that is changing its world as it changes the lives of its partners and employees.

It’s been quite the journey to get here. And I start today.

Finally.

Here’s to the start of career number two.

I’m glad you popped up on my Twitter today-I’m excited to see how the Lord uses you. Hoping married life so far is an incredible blessing for you brother!

Matt, I am so glad to hear you and Rocio get there safe and sound. I pray the Lord will be with you in this journey, you two will be a blessing for this company. Please keep us posted. We love you guys, greetiings from Jairo and katia.

Wow – you actually began work in Indonesia today. I thought about you and Rocio several times today and prayed that God would give you both favor with those you work with and that your work would be prosperous. You and Rocio are both so selfless. I am amazed at how you obey God so fervently. I know that you are not following your selfish dreams but you are wanting all that God has for you. I can’t wait to hear of all the exciting things that will be happening in your worlds. All I ask is that you don’t forget that I am your “mama” and that you don’t forget where your “mama” lives.
Love you so much -
MOM
